Barberino’s is a Digital Native Brand dedicated to personal care for men and lifestyle. Barberino’s currently operates 6 classic-Italian style barber-shops and has developed its own private label product line.

The services offered vary from traditional haircut to shaving and anti-fall treatments. The products are distributed through two channels: Barberino’s physical stores and its app and ecommerce.

Barberino’s sought new finance with the aim of strengthening its brand value through new openings in several Italian main cities and expanding its private label offering.

With the support of Cross Border Growth Capital (CBGC) as its exclusive financial advisor, Barberino’s was able to collect interests of several Italian VC funds and business angel. CBGC prepared all the necessary documentation – from the business plan and pitching material to a thorough review of the investment clauses – and providing an independent valuation. CGBG successfully structured the round with new investors and accompanied Barberino’s in the equity crowdfunding process on MamaCrowd. The campaign was oversubscribed with an amount raised above €1,3M, making it one of the largest equity crowdfunding campaigns in Italy in 2020.
